Microsoft has announced that it will replace the Disk Cleanup tool with Storage Sense in Windows 11. This change comes as a result of the company’s efforts to free up storage space for users in the wake of the popularity of cloud-based storage services.
Microsoft has replaced the Disk Cleanup tool with Storage Sense in the latest build of Windows 11. This change makes Disk Cleanup unavailable from the Drives Properties dialog. You must use Storage Sense to access Disk Cleanup.
Disk Cleanup is no longer available to open in the drive properties dialog.
How to Knife
The Enabling Storage Usage button on the Settings app opens the Storage used on other drives page. The page lists the capacity of all drives and the free and used storage rate. A second click is required to display how storage is used on the drive.

Windows 11 is still a beta release, and it’s likely that disk cleanup will remain an option initially after the release. This is because Windows 11 is designed to be more reliable and efficient, and it may not be possible to completely uninstall disk cleanup features until the final version of the software is released.
Windows 11 users can launch it by typing Disk Cleanup in Start. The first result is the tool, which can be opened this way. There is a chance that Microsoft will change the result manually so that the storage settings page will open.
You can still load it by opening the Run box with Windows-R shortcut to start cleanmgr.exe.
