How to Use MS Word as Whiteboard – Guide

The Microsoft 365 Whiteboard App is a free-form digital canvas that allows you to create an uninhibited team up continuously and save your work in the cloud so you can bring your group together in any case when everyone is working remotely. We are pleased to save this series as a hard copy, and we trust that you are participating in the articles we have pointed out to help you better understand and use the Microsoft 365 Whiteboard application.

Microsoft Whiteboard is a collaboration tool that allows users to quickly share ideas with others. The app allows you and your group to draw or write if you are using ink. Although designed to work best with a pen, it is fully usable by people with desktop devices. That said, it does have a nice synergy between applications and different projects in the Microsoft Office suite, so assuming you’re using Microsoft tools for your team’s productivity, Whiteboard will be a big new addition.

There are two main options for sharing whiteboards during team meetings: either to create a whiteboard and then share it with the team, or to share a whiteboard from a previous meeting and then provide the link.

Sharing Whiteboard from a Team Meeting

In a Teams meeting, you can access a whiteboard by clicking the share button and choosing the Whiteboard option usually on the right.

This whiteboard lets you share the screen with others.

If you want to use the whiteboard in teams, you’ll need to find a way to make it more versatile. There are only four pens and an eraser available, so it can be difficult to get everyone on the same page. ..

The app has more options than ever before. The pen menu options at the bottom, highlighter, ruler, insert images and an insert menu for various file options are among the most comprehensive I’ve ever seen.

The OneNote Post button is at the top of the screen and includes a link to post to teams. ..

Microsoft has a video that shows all the features of the Whiteboard app.

post to teams

The Whiteboard app allows you to share whiteboard content with a team or channel. You can choose to share the content from a specific whiteboard or from any of the app’s boards.

The post is about how the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have some great features that make them stand out from other smartphones. The new iPhones have a lot of great features that make them stand out from other smartphones. They have a better camera, more storage, and a faster processor. ..

Share a whiteboard from the Whiteboard application

The Whiteboard app can create new whiteboards, rename them, and then invite students to share them. When students are invited, there is an option that allows them to edit or view the whiteboard. This approach provides an option for a read-only whiteboard. ..

There is currently no direct way to change a whiteboard from collaborative to read-only; this is being worked on by the Microsoft team. ..

In Glow, it appears that the configuration does not allow adding invites by either O365 groups or team details. ..

Using more than one device

If as a teacher, you join the team meeting with another device, then you can use that device to access the whiteboard and add resources, ink, etc.

Using OneNote

OneNote in Teams is a great way to keep track of ideas and tasks while working together.

You can use the collaborative section of a Team OneNote as a whiteboard for collaboration, or you can use a page from the content library of a Team OneNote for a read-only option.

Using ink in other Office 365 applications (PowerPoint, Word)

An additional option for a read-only view would be to use PowerPoint and ink or Word and ink.
