How to Restore Deleted Stories, Reels, Posts, and IGTV Videos on Instagram – Guide
The recently deleted Instagram app feature allows users to restore accidentally deleted posts. The platform also placed controls to prevent hackers from modifying your account.
This is something Instagram has been working on for a while now. They’ve added some new security measures to prevent hackers from compromising your account and deleting posts you’ve shared.
Instagram is asking you to verify that you are the rightful owner of an account before deleting or restoring content from Recently Deleted.
As ‘Recently Deleted’ feature Work
Previously, if you deleted a photo, video, function or IGTV video, it was permanently removed and there was no way to get it back. But now, posts that you delete or remove are automatically moved to the Recently Deleted folder. Deleted stories (not in your archive) remain in the folder for 24 hours, while IGTV photos, videos, functions and videos are permanently deleted after 30 days.
