With the new iOS 14 update,Messaging has become even more important to iPhone users. The update added a new feature that makes it easier to keep your most important conversations on top of the app- now you can pin conversations so they’re always waiting for you when you start messages. Not only does pinning a conversation to messages keep it above all other text messages, but Apple has also added some visual cues to let you know which pinned messages are active.

If you have pinned a conversation to the top of your messaging app, you can have up to nine conversations at the same time. This includes individual chats and group messages.

How to Pin conversations to messages

Type “messaging” into the app’s search bar and press “search.” You’ll find a list of all the messaging apps in your app store.

To pin a conversation at the top of your message list, press and hold the conversation you want to pin.
