How to order iPhone TODAY for pick-up on 9/24 – Guide
If you enter the Apple store now and select the phone you want (color, storage, AppleCare, etc), at the bottom it will show the delivery window (probably in the final October for 13 Pro Max), and will also say that it is not available at your location:
If you click on the store name, a pop-up window comes up that says: “The store is closed for lunch.”
This window shows the availability of in-store pickup in REAL TIME. If you click on any of the options – like switching from Blue to Gold or 128gb to 256gb – the availability updates in real time with pickup availability at stores near you. I have 12 stores near me (well, two in Austin, including Dallas, Houston and San Antonio). Each time I click on a new color or another option, store availability is updated. And let me tell you – he’s been updating ALL DAY.

I wanted a 13 Pro Max, 256GB in black. The blue was in stock for about 5 minutes, so the gold was in stock but not close to me, so the blue was back in stock but in different stores. It was updating minute by minute for most of the day. Twice I have mine phone in the cart to complete the purchase and it was already gone when I went to pay. But the phones were coming back in stock all day. So I just checked it a few times throughout the day, watching it or 10 minutes or so each time. Every time I looked, there were phone of all models in stock for pick up on Friday, 9/24. Availability was changing by the minute, so know what you want and be ready to click quickly."
