This is the base game and not one of the many packages listed on Steam, but EU4 will be a new addition to the Epic Store, so we can see some of the supplemental content – and, one would think, more Paradox games – will be like that in the future. Even with no extra content, however, this is a massive and unexpectedly accessible (relatively speaking, at least) strategy experience.
The Escapists is a free game this week that’s also an acclaimed independent prison escape simulator. Do it silently (dig a tunnel), do it loud (start a riot), or do something entirely different – it doesn’t matter, as long as you leave. Epic doesn’t support user reviews yet, but it has an overall rating of “very good” out of over 13,000 user reviews on Steam. That’s pretty solid.
