How to find your lost iPhone – Guide

Apple’s Find My app was a helpful (and comforting) feature, allowing you to locate a lost (or stolen) phone so you can retrieve it (or contact the authorities if it’s safer). With the expansion of Find My to a variety of other objects, especially through Apple’s AirTags, it has become even more useful. And now that iOS 15 brings with it the ability to find your phone even if the battery has run out or been disconnected, Find My’s usefulness has become even greater. ..

  1. Open the App Store and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Type “Find My iPhone” into the App Store search bar and hit enter.
  3. If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one by going to the App Store and signing in with your email address and password.
  4. Once you’ve signed in, type “Find My iPhone” into the app’s main screen and hit enter again to find your device if it’s been lost or stolen.

To find your device’s name and password, go to Settings, tap your name, then “Find mine”. ..

If you’ve upgraded to iOS 15, you can also turn on “Find My network,” which will allow you to find your phone even if you’re offline. “Send Last Location” will send your iPhone’s location to your Apple account when the battery is about to run out. ..

After that, if you can’t find your iPhone, you can track it using the Find My app on a Mac (or other iPhone, if you have one) or in any browser by going to iCloud.com/find and signing in with your Apple ID.

If you’re using the iPhone app, select the green dot that locates your iPhone. Select the circled “i” (for information), and you will have the option to have your phone play a sound by deleting it or putting it into “Lost Mode”. In “Lost Mode”, you can enter a phone number where you can be reached and a message (“Please return this phone as soon as possible!”). After that, the phone will be locked until you re-enter the password.

Apple has released a new update for its iOS 15 operating system that includes a number of new features and improvements. If you’re using iOS 15 on your iPhone, you can find it even if it runs out of battery or is turned off.
