How to enable and use ‘long screenshot’ feature of Google Chrome – Guide
Some people find that the scrolling feature on Android 12 is not as effective as it used to be. This is because some websites and ads are embedded in the phone’s screen, making it difficult to capture the page.
Many Android users wish to have the screen shots scroll feature. Another common problem native to screen-capturing faces when working in a browser is slow loading. Content can load when you scroll to it, but when you try to take a screen capture, sometimes the screen is captured even before the content loads.
Google Chrome for Android released a new feature which has a screen capture tool and editor. The latest update has some interesting ones. This feature will allow you to take full-page screenshots with just a few taps.
Google Chrome for Android will fix all the issues and allow you to take a scrolling screenshot, even if your smartphone doesn’t have the feature natively. This feature can be enabled from Chrome Flags and is for testing.
See How to enable this feature in ten simple steps:
Chrome needs to be updated to the latest version in order to see the Chrome flag that needs to be activated.
This will open Google Chrome on your Android device with the flags set to “on.”
You can now screenshot in Chrome by typing “Long Screenshot” into the search bar.
If you want to share a picture with someone using Chrome, you can do so by selecting the ‘Chrome Share Long Pictures’ option from the drop-down menu. From there, you can choose which picture to share. ..
You’ll see a cafeteria message at the bottom of the screen if you enable the dining experience.
Chrome will ask you to restart it. Just tap it and allow the changes to take place. ..
If you have not opened the webpage in a while, it may open in a new tab. If that is the case, close the tab and reopen it to continue. ..
You can now take a screenshot of your current screen by pressing the ‘Share’menu option and then selecting the ‘Long Screenshot’ option.
If you want to roll up and down, use the up and down arrows. Tap ‘Next’ in the upper right corner after selecting the desired part of the webpage you want to capture. If desired, you can also choose to edit the screenshot.
The first option will let you share the screenshot with your friends and family. The second option will save the screenshot to your device only. The third option will delete the screenshot.
If you choose the ‘Save to device and computer’ option, it will be saved on both your device and your computer.
