- Open Firefox and type “about:config” into the address bar.

Chrome, Firefox, and Edge all have password managers that allow you to store passwords offline. However, after a while you may have accumulated a lot of them. You should start clean by deleting any passwords that you don’t need anymore or that you haven’t used in a while.

Click on the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner of the screen and select “New Tab.”
On the left side of the page that opens, select “Privacy and Security” to get more information about how your data is being used.
Scroll down until you reach the “Saved Logins” area. There, click on “Saved Logins…” to open a new menu with all your passwords.
Remove the password from the login you want to remove it from by clicking on it in the list on the left side of the screen. This login information will appear on the right.
When asked to confirm, click “Remove” again. Login information will be deleted.
