The Cinema Mode on the iPhone 13 Pro models was especially featured in Apple’s presentation on devices last week. The assessments so far this week have people acknowledging intelligence but questioning its usefulness.
I took a poll of people who use the app and found that they thought it was really helpful. Cinematic Mode Test
My goal in my tests was to shoot what I could in 1 day (and a little bit of an afternoon at the pool), just like anyone who goes to Disneyland hopes to do. A person holding the camera, no configuration and very little direction. From time to time I would ask a child to look at me. That’s about it. What you see on this roll is as close as possible to what you would experience doing it yourself, which is the main point. There’s not a lot of b-roll, I haven’t re-shot that stuff indefinitely. What you see is what was shot. The only edit I’ve done here is using Cinematic Mode to pick some focus points after the fact, either for effect or because auto detection picked something I didn’t like. I didn’t have to do that much, but I was glad I did it.

Movie Mode is a new feature that exists in the camera application and takes advantage of almost every major iPhone component.
